Together we are building a more resilient and equitable food system for Aquidneck Islanders. Your continued support and partnership makes it possible for ACT's programs to thrive and grow, sustaining and cherishing community health now, and for generations to come.
What a year!
More than 200 elementary school students were inspired through outdoor lessons in school gardens.
More than 70 community garden spaces connected people across generations, backgrounds, and cultures.
Hundreds of pounds of fresh produce were donated from our award-winning community gardens in Newport’s North End.
Aquidneck Growers Markets offered vital sales outlets and business incubators for over 40 farmers and food businesses.
Food support programs were made available at all markets, making fresh produce affordable for everyone.
New food leaders grown in The Root Riders summer youth employment pilot program.
Imagine what we can accomplish together in 2022!
