"We support ACT because it is uniquely qualified to lead efforts to build a stronger local food system on Aquidneck Island. By supporting local growers and connecting all islanders, especially those facing hunger, to locally grown foods, ACT is helping to make our families and economy stronger every day. We also love that we live in a place with a thriving and diverse farmers' market. It's spaces like this that inspire joy, nourish us, and create community. They make Newport the special place that it is for residents. It's important to us to support them."
- Emily & Jeremy Pochman

Thank you for being part of our village and helping to connect local people to local foods and food businesses. Last fall you, along with 50+ of your neighbors, helped us raise $21,000. Our goal is to raise $30,000 this year. Together, we are building a stronger and more just food system on Aquidneck Island. A couple highlights from this year: Educated over 800 children on the joys of growing fresh foods Connected over 30,000 people to local food and food businesses through our @aquidneckgrowers markets Our reach is growing, but so is the need. In Rhode Island, 1 in 8 people experience persistent food insecurity, with our communities of color disproportionately impacted. At the same time, less than 3% percent of food consumed in Rhode Island is locally sourced. Can we count on you to help us support more of our neighbors and local growers? aquidneckcommunitytable.org/donate PO Box 1481, Newport, RI, 02840
