Our community gardens increase access to healthy foods by providing places to grow fresh fruits and vegetables

Aquidneck Community Table manages over 80 community garden plots across the island. Community gardens provide members an opportunity to rent a garden plot for an annual fee and grow their own organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers in a community setting.
You can apply for a garden plot and be added to the waitlist by clicking the button above and filling out the form. Plots are assigned randomly using a lottery system each spring. To remain on the most current waitlist, you must to fill out an interest form at the start of each year.
We manage the gardens at the following locations:
Florence Gray Center, 1 York Street, Newport
Park Holm Senior Center, 1 Eisenhower Street, Newport
Great Friends Meeting House at Marlborough and Farewell Streets, Newport
Island Community Farm at Green End Avenue and Elizabeth Lane, Middletown
